Press Play – The New Socially Distant DJ/Emcee

First off, WE MISS YOU!  I hope everyone is staying safe and sane during this crazy time.  The Press Play family has been staying busy with our Press Play Friday Facebook Live Sessions and our Zoom parties.  If you have not been able to join them, please “Like” us on Facebook to see our Superstar DJs in action.

As we have started getting more and more requests for socially distant, outdoor affairs (THANKS TO THOSE REACHING OUT!), we wanted to provide you with some details on some of our “new” social distance policies and games for your next event.

Policies

  • All deposits are transferable to alternate dates within 2 years of your original event date, without penalty
  • Clients will be responsible for all sanitation/cleaning supplies and masks for their guests
  • DJs/Emcees will wipe down all items used for games/activities prior to use and we will do our best to make sure items are not shared between guests
  • We will also lead interested families in a “no touch” Hora

Socially Distant – Minimal Touch Games

  • Human Tic Tac Toe or Tic Tac Toe Toss
  • Music Trivia Relay
  • Guest of Honor Trivia
  • Noodle Tag

Boston Voyager Magazine Interview

May 15, 2017 By Keith Leave a Comment

Recently, I was interviewed by Boston Voyager Magazine to discuss Press Play Entertainment for their “Inspiring Stories” section that highlights local entrepreneurs. I’m excited to share the newly published interview from their website.

Much love to Jodi and Dylan who continue to support me, even when I have had to miss special events, baseball games, and other family time. Please know, this is all done to support our family.

A big shout out to my crew over the years (Alan, Evan, Russ, Rob G, Rob W, Sean, Eli) and especially Jay, my partner in crime, who continue to be the best folks to work with and know how to throw a party and put smiles on clients’ faces!

And, finally, a special thank you to Jeff Glassman for being a great mentor and like a big brother to me for over 20 years. Without you, Press Play would not be what it is today.

Contact us today to book your next special event.  Great summer rates available for graduation parties, summer BBQ’s, and other events.

Press Play Walking in the 2016 Jimmy Fund Walk!

June 17, 2016 By Keith Leave a Comment

On Sunday, September 25, Press Play will lace up their sneakers, for the 8th time, to walk along the famed Boston Marathon® route in the 2016 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai! I’ve committed to raise $3000 this year. I’ve set this goal because I know the money raised by the Jimmy Fund Walk goes directly to innovative cancer research and exceptional patient care Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

I continue to walk in support of close family and friends who are battling and BEATING this terrible disease. As many may know, my mother has been battling breast cancer for the last 4 years and is just beginning another radiation treatment this week. She has a very rare form of breast cancer, that keeps re-occurring even after several surgeries and treatments. All along, she has been fighting like a champion and is always more concerned about us than herself. I could not be more proud of her! My sister in law has also been battling brain cancer and radiation induced tumors for most of her life. Just last month, she had a brain tumor removed and, fortunately, it was not cancerous and she has recovered tremendously. Needless to say, these two strong, incredible ladies are my heroes and I am certainly proud to have them as family.

Will you please make a gift of $20 or more to support my Walk and the incredible work being done at Dana-Farber?

The funds raised by the Jimmy Fund Walk help to:
*Enable Institute leaders to apply monies rapidly when promising new research opportunities arise

*Advance Dana-Farber’s signature total patient care philosophy by enhancing the programs and initiatives that serve patients and their families, such as the Zakim Center for Integrative Therapies and the Red Sox Spring Training Trip for teenagers in treatment

*Allow Dana-Farber to attract, develop, and retain the brightest minds who will lead the next generation of cancer care and research

It’s easy to have an impact on this important and universal cause. You can:
– Make a gift online: give directly through my fundraising page: [link below]. You can also visit JimmyFundWalk.org and click “Give Now”. Then, search for my name and follow the instructions on my fundraising page to make a gift to support my walk online.

– Send in a check: Write a check payable to “Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk” with my name in the memo line and send it directly to the Jimmy Fund Walk lockbox:
Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk
P.O. Box 3595
Boston, MA 02241-3595

– I would also be grateful if you would check with your employer’s human resources department to find out if your organization will match your gift and double the impact!

Cancer touches all of us. I am doing my part to help conquer this disease and with your help, we can move closer to the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.

Thank you in advance for your generosity! I appreciate your support.
